Here are ten things you can do RIGHT NOW, to become happier at the moment!
#1 – Take a walk outside.
Movement changes your brain and nature brings peace. Try it.
#2 – Take 3-5 deep and cleansing breaths.
Close your eyes, breath in and breath out slowly and with purpose.
#3 – Take a small box and fill it up.
Get rid of the with junk in your space that makes you feel stifled. Less is more. More life, more freedom, more peace.
#4 – Hug someone you love.
Embrace them. Feel their love for you. The positive energy, the transference of light and happiness.
#5 – Count your blessings.
Write down 3-5 things you are grateful for and watch the list grow.
#6 – Meditate.
No, it’s not a new age fad. It’s scientifically proven the change your brain and lead to more self-control, less anxiety, and more inner peace. Give it a try for 1 minute and see what it does.
#7 – Pay it forward.
Help someone out. Say something kind to another person. Giving back is the purest form of happiness given to our species.
#8 – Forgive.
Call, email or just decide mentally to forgive someone that hurt you and release the negative energy around those feelings. You will be happier after. The weight of anger harms you more than them.
#9 – Complete a task.
Has something been weighing on your mind? What’s bugging you and sitting on your shoulder like a weight? Finish it up and feel the release.
#10 – Smile.
